Cute Justin Bieber Cartoon Surfaces--Is the 'Lonely' Girl Selena Gomez?

An incredibly cute Justin Bieber cartoon has just surfaced online. Where did it come from? What, if anything, does it mean? And, more importantly, is the cartoon girl supposed to be Selena Gomez?

She certainly looks like Justin Bieber's recently confirmed lady-love. So much so that several fans are tweeting about the resemblance. The cartoon, which you can see by clicking here, is titled and captioned:

"I can fix up your broken heart, I can give you a brand new start!"

It shows a boy who is obviously JB right down to his white and purple concert outfit, haircut, and microphone, presenting a bouquet of roses to a girl on what is obviously a concert stage. The girl sits on a stool, tears streaming down her face, her hands half-covering her mouth, gazing up at the Biebs. A heart floats in the air between them.

The cartoon depicts a scene familiar to beliebers. It's the One Less Lonely Girl segment featured in all JB's concerts. A girl is chosen at random from the audience to ascend the stage to be serenaded by her idol who also gifts her with a bouquet of roses. It's an almost ritualistic moment at the Biebs' shows. The most famous of the One Less Lonely Girl honorees was Debhani Guzman, the "lying down crying" girl for whom Justin Bieber launched a massive Internet search. After finally locating her, he serenaded her at his kick off My World South American Tour concert in Stadium Monterrey, Mexico, thus "fixing" her broken heart, which had been broken by her inability to score JB concert tickets. Awww. Heartwarming as that story may be, the girl in the cartoon is not Debhani Guzman. She does, however, resemble Selena Gomez. Even true beliebers think so.

"The cartoon girl looks like Selena Gomez. Lol (:" commented one.

"that girl look like selena gomez," wrote another.

It's difficult to think of the poised, talented, and almost preternaturally beautiful Selena Gomez ever feeling lonely or heartbroken. Nevertheless, she has stated in interviews that her pre-Justin Bieber boyfriends made her "miserable." (Take that Nick Jonas and Taylor Lautner.) Thus, the cartoon could be a depiction of Jelena.

Or not. Maybe it all means nothing at all. Or as one as one mystified belieber commented: "I don't understand the point. What is it about?"

What do you think?
