Ever the gentleman, Justin Bieber recently took the unbelievably high road during a live radio interview. When the deejay started trashing Mariah Yeater in his presence, the teen dream gallantly and unexpectedly came to her defense.
On November 17, Justin Bieber stopped by Manhattan's Z100 Radio Station to promote his Christmas album, Under the Mistletoe. Inevitably, the conversation moved from JB's music to his ongoing alleged baby mama drama which seems to have been finally resolved by Mariah Yeater's own leaked text messages. It seems the stupid—er—misguided Yeater texted an old friend begging him to erase previous texts which proved not only that Justin Bieber was not her baby daddy, but also indicated that her paternity suit had been, from the beginning, a bogus claim designed to extort money from the pop superstar.
In response to the deejay's questions about the love child scandal, Justin remained remarkably philosophical:
As far as the whole, you know, baby situation, you know, it's unfortunate that it had to happen like that, that, you know, people make false accusations, but things happen in this industry and you just have to keep your head high and be positive, and that's really all I have to say.
Fair enough. But not enough for the deejay who went on to ridicule Yeater by "making fun of Mariah's skanky looks." Whatever that means. At that point, Justin Bieber put an end to the whole discussion:
No, no, be cool with her.
Kudos to Justin Bieber for maintaining his dignity, self-respect, and manners even in the midst of madness. As he has often maintained, Justin hates no one—not even his haters. Not even Mariah Yeater who tried to prey on him.
You go, Biebs.
Note to the deejay: It's sexist of you to put Yeater down for her "skanky looks." Skank is a misogynistic word. Yeater is not an evil person because of the way she looks. She's an evil person because she tried to extort money from an innocent person by lying. Duh.
