As part of his continued Christmas album press blitz, Justin Bieber sat down for an interview at SiriusXM Studio in New York City on Friday (November 18).

During the visit, the 17-year-old Canadian sensation chatted about the typical topics as of late, including his holiday disc "Under the Mistletoe" and his heavily covered baby drama - of which the paternity lawsuit has since been dismissed by accuser Mariah Yeater.

Speaking of the baby daddy allegations, Bieber's mentor and good friend Usher recently chatted with MTV about the matter, sending the following message to Justin: "Stay strong. And know that all of this comes with the territory."

Usher offers some advice to Justin Bieber

R&B singer Usher has a sense of what his protege Justin Bieber is going through.

MTV reports that Usher is giving his full support to Bieber after the teen was hit with a paternity lawsuit. Ever since Bieber released his My World EP in 2009, he's been under much scrutiny by the media and fans alike. Though the paternity suit has been dropped, it hasn't taken the attention away from Bieber.

Usher advised him in an interview with MTV:

"Stay strong. And know that all of this comes with the territory,"

Despite the drama surrounding Bieber's paternity test, Usher said he's proud of Bieber's charitable work.

He Said-

"To write a check is only half of it, but when you truly take on a responsibility to be a philanthropist, you accept an effort, and I really think that Pencils of Promise is something that has a very bright future,".

According to Us Magazine, Bieber took the paternity test on Friday even though Mariah Yeater, his accuser, dropped the suit against him.

"He's ready to take a paternity test, at any moment. We have one scheduled for tomorrow," Bieber's manager Scooter Braun said on Thursday. Justin said he didn't mind taking the test and wanted to make a point about not letting anybody take advantage of him.

"We don't want it to seem like its okay for everyone to say, like, 'I had Justin's baby or having his baby,'" he said.

Justin Bieber Ft. Usher "Chestnuts"

Justin Bieber ft. Usher new song “Chestnuts” from album “Under the Mistletoe” is out on iTunes today, October 24th

To Download Song Click Here
The chestnuts are roasting and tween and teen girls are swooning. That must mean Justin Bieber has released his latest duet with his big bro Usher, their remake of a holiday classic, “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire).”
Usher and Bieber update the tune with a more “today” sounding instrumental — check out that blaring electric guitar solo midway through — but leave the song’s iconic lyrics mostly untouched.
“Chestnuts roasting on an open fire/Jack Frost nipping at your nose,” Bieber opens the song singing. After letting Bieber shine (it is his album), Usher joins in. “They know that Santa’s on his way/He’s loading lots of toys and many goodies on his sleigh.” The two are soon singing together in perfect, over-dramatic, too-many-damn-runs harmony.
“The Christmas Song” is the latest song released from Bieber’s upcoming Christmas album, Under The Mistletoe. It follows the release of the set’s first single, “Mistletoe.” The album is in stores on November 1, and Usher won’t be the only guest on it. Boyz II Men, Busta Rhymes, The Band Perry, and Mariah Carey are all making appearances.

Some sales from Justin Bieber's new CD to go to charity

(AP)
NEW YORK - Justin Bieber is in the holiday spirit: The singer is the first artist on the Universal Music roster to have part of his album sales benefit charity.
Partial sales from "Under the Mistletoe," his Christmas album that is out Nov. 1, will go to various charities, including Pencils of Promise and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

"Universal never actually allowed money from the album to go to charity, so it's kind of a unique thing and I'm very happy and proud of what we've done," the 17-year-old said in an interview from Lima, Peru, on Monday.
Universal Music Group in the parent company to labels like Interscope Records and Island Def Jam Music Group. Its roster includes Eminem, Rihanna, Kanye West and Lady Gaga.
Bieber said he isn't sure how much of the sales will go to charity, but thanks his team for helping him achieve his goal of wanting to help others during the holiday season.
"I tell them basically what I want and they kind of go and help me get it done," said Bieber, who will also donate money to various food banks.
"Under the Mistletoe" features collaborations with Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men, among others. He said he wanted to "work with people who had great experiences with Christmas albums."
"They were all great people and fun to be around," said the Canadian-born entertainer, who appears on a "super festive" version of Carey's classic song "All I Want for Christmas."
Chris Brown co-wrote and co-produced the song "Christmas Eve," which Bieber says "all the ladies will like." And there are also tunes featuring Usher and the country trio the Band Perry.
"They've been really successful and great in the country world, so I wanted to get them on my Christmas album and cross some barriers and try to get some different audience members to listen to my music," he said.
Bieber, who also raps on the Busta Rhymes-assisted "Drummer Boy," said he enjoys performing different styles of music.
"I guess I can be pretty versatile - being able to do country music and put out a record of me rapping on the Internet," he said. "I just think that with the Internet, not a lot of artists can be taken seriously if they try to change lanes and so I made it kind of apparent at first that I love to do everything and people kind of take me seriously when I switch over, so I'm really lucky to be able to have that."
